I sometimes feel that way when I'm tutoring my 19-year-old with her college math. I get a lot of "deja vu" moments and she's completely oblivious. Her math brain is definitely the Bermuda Triangle.

I find the important stuff ends up in the Bermuda Triangle. The stupid stuff like the lines to a favorite movie or song lyrics or my husband's cousin's brother-in-law's best friend's dog's name are readily available.

With my daughter it's the complex stuff that sticks with her but the simple things like remembering to simplify a fraction is what gets lost!!

yes everyone brains work differently in terms of remembering the stuff, depends on one interest and and likes, it helps us to remember certain things, but brain becomes Bermuda triangle only during exams, when actually comes out.. >:O :D >:O
